‘Armrest’ doesn’t really cut it, does it? An innocent enough name, provided you keep its use innocent. But no, that’s not for us. 'Display cushion’, perhaps? I don’t know, it doesn’t roll off the tongue even close to easy enough. 'Shock absorber’, maybe. That one makes me laugh, at least. 'Dear, would you mind mounting the shock absorber? You’re going to need it…’ There’s a certain amusing cruelty to that. 'Spank stand’ could work. The kind of furniture that can force you to arch your back just so, force your arse up into the air, showing it off, displaying, it ready for the inevitable to come thundering down. Any could work.
