dimespin: Ani and Adler’s school isn’t in their species’ natural climate so sometimes they gotta deal with less than ideal temps and clothes can only do so much about the fact they are ectothermic In the dead of winter they just stay in their office at the school with lamps and space heaters and don’t bother going home since if they did they’d go into torpor on the way. Alligator hydras can deal with a certain amount of chilly weather but they deal with it via brumation which is a less than ideal response when you’ve got a lecture to do so they just bypass it by staying warm. -- source link
