There’s a natural apex with every bondage scene. For every knot you tie, there’s another for you to untie. For each time you wrap the rope around a limb, a breast, a wrist, that’s another for you to unwrap and unwind. Once you’re done, once the bondage is complete (hah! as if it is ever complete) there’s an urge to begin with your descent, clamber down from that mountain and enjoy the fun part of it all. But the problem is, it’s not fun unless it’s had some time; to sink in, to marinade, to become comfortable, and then uncomfortable, and then accepted. And so, as a Dominant, you’ve got to think of something to distract yourself while you wait for that to happen. If you’re particularly sadistic, you might entertain yourself with a feather. If you’re a little low on impulse control, you might start to just add and add things, a ball gag here, a pair of clamps there, a blindfold, some body writing with a marker, all sorts. I’ve been all these things, at different times. Sometimes I spend a little longer thinking about it. I consider the position, and consider how to properly compliment and push it towards its climax. Add a little suspension, and everything becomes that much more difficult to cope with. You don’t want her to cope, because coping means she’s not being pushed hard enough. Most of the time. It’s not about the time it takes before you can take the binds off, really, it’s about how you kill it. -- source link
