S5. Evu from Cookie Jar Entertainment’s Magi Nation. Evu is an elderly spellcaster from the forest realm of Naroom. She is also an expert healer and keeper of ancient lore. In her youth she explored the Moonlands with her best friends and is exactly as wise as she looks. Whenever the leader of her realm could not fulfill his duties she becomes the de facto leader and represents her realm in her world’s equivalent of the United Nations. She is also a member of the Magi Resistance, a group of warriors fighting against the forces of evil to keep her world safe and free from tyranny. Evu is one of two characters that is used by the show to educate its young audience to respect their elders. She may be small and slow but she isn’t defenceless.
