Stray Cats - Scruff and Freckles After 10 days of looking after two stray cats, on the weekend
Stray Cats - Scruff and Freckles After 10 days of looking after two stray cats, on the weekend our little Scruff went off to be vaccinated and to find a new home. She was so small and dirty when we found her. But after a wash she cleaned up well, cleaned herself daily, used a litter box, found her confidence, and began to play and run around lots. We miss her heaps and hope someone will give her a good home with lots of love and attention. I had forgotten how tiny and precious little kittens are, and the joy they bring. Sadly we found her little brother, who didn’t make it, hit by a car. Our other stray cat, Freckles, is about six months old and has a few more trauma issues. She will need more attention, and we have decided to keep her. Slowly, as she is being fed daily and doesn’t have to stress about where her next meal is coming from, she is coming around to pats, feeling she can clean herself, and being relaxed around humans. She is not much of a hunter, and rarely leaves her food bowl unless she can see other potential food sources lying about. There is no leaving a plate, or any food in easy access anywhere near this cat. It is gone before you realize it. -- source link
