They don’t want to admit they were giving up hope on Nara pulling through, but at least they were trying their best to get assistance in the ways they knew/could. Melone goes on land the most and found a loophole of going up there thanks to a hit. Unfortunately he didn’t get back in time to deliver the antibiotics he had managed to get, as Narancia had already been caught.
