rhianacat: DIY La Dispute shirt, “We are the lovers”. Drawing by the kick ass perezabby. Definitely check out her tumblr!! So this is inspired by the song “The last lost continent “. I also really love the recurring use of the word lover(s) in the songs. It’s like a pretty nice word and then the music is harder/darker, same with the use of the word darling. The contrast is just really nice. Basically the guy took her drawing and made a stencil, then he spray painted over it. The ‘lovers’ is a bit wonky, but I think I’ll have him outline the words to make it more clear. We came up with the idea to place it more left (‘cause its a heart, get it). Maybe on the back I’m going to actually put La Dispute? Or maybe I’ll leave it simple like this. Overall I’m pretty happy with it. I really have to give credit to the artists! Thanks guys!
