gogomadu: New Start Since starting his therapy sessions, Luci has felt far more at ease. During one session, Luci and his therapist decided that it might be helpful if he exercised controlled loss. They uncovered that his current long hair might have been a manifestation of his abandonment issues and inability to let go of things under his control. While they agreed that this didn’t mean that he couldn’t regrow his hair or keep long hair, they thought that it might be a good idea to take away the “safety blanket” that his long hair had been providing. If he could come to terms with this loss, it might start him on the path of accepting that loss is a normal part of life.
