theanomalystory:So, my home away from home is closed due to current circumstances, but I wanted to share with you all one of my favorite animals there. This is Buddha. She is a chunky Colorado River Toad (Bufo alvarius). She is from the Sonoran desert in northern Mexico and the southwestern US. Though these animals are chunky, I wouldnt recommend eating one as they are poisonous (ie, you eat it, you get sick). She is one of the most awesome ambassador animals where I volunteer and wanted to share her with everyone so they can enjoy her too. I mean, how can you say no to the toad? :) -- source link
