bsimth: QUICK TUTORIAL - Hovering Icons BE GONE (for good). For Photographers, Storytellers & Movie Makers. Afternoon folks, Every time we get a new patch, I’m reminded to write this up. Ever wish you didn’t have to use the cheat: headlineEffects on EVERYTIME you go onto a lot or in game? Waiting on a Moderator to update their mod? This is for you: Locate your Default file in your Bin folder. Mine is: This PC |OS: (C:) | Program Files (x86) | Origin Games | The Sims 4 | Bin | Default. Copy Default to Desktop and rename it with today’s date. Ex: (Default 8-16-16). Double Click OR Right Click the one your editing to open. Locate the 2nd paragraph titled, “[Plumbob]”. Change the icon’s decimal (highlighted) you want transparent; from 1.00 to 0.00. (You can transparent the club ones too, ex. (0.50 to 0.00). Save. Voila’! Your done. Place the original that’s on your desktop in a safe folder for keeping. You will not have to revisit this again until patch day. (Typically once a month.) -- source link
