Amabie アマビエ様 is a yokai that wards off an epidemic if you show a picture of her to other people. Japanese artists are drawing her for good luck/morale. I thought that was a really sweet idea. We can really use some hope during a time like this.I’m lucky, I can work from home while the situation worsen everyday in the UK. I’m basically self isolating while I see this country following the same pattern of my home country, Italy. My family there is safe and still coping. It’s hard times but the only thing we can do is try to stay positive and don’t loose it to paranoia and fear.Hope everyone stays safe.Also, fellow artists, I would love to see your version of Amabie ✨ -- source link
