A miracle smile - PAGE 38, 39, 40 (read from right to left)Finally, after FIVE (5) years I got to the point where I can show you the first ‘miracle smile’! It took me so long, wtf! Anyway, the comic is not even halfway… I hope there won’t be another 5 years to get there. T-T Why do I always make myself suffer with long comics?!!So about these pages. Yes, there are 3, it’s a slight compensation for not updating since 2018. It’s exactly a year! I last updated on 27th August!!!! O_O Sorry about that. ^^’ My drawing style changed again, because I’ve been drawing only realistically this year, but tried to make it manga-ish like.About Hisoka… there is a one-shot by Sui Ishida which if I remember correctly became canon. In that we can see Hisoka as a child, already a psychopath. He knows his mother, she taught him card tricks, so he must remember her.In my comic, he also holds some vague memories of her, but he can’t remember the feelings he felt towards his mom. In other words he forgot to love, because of the trauma of her death. I will explain how she died later, who killed her etc.I really tried to stay in character and make it believable. But since it’s a comic about Hisoka being changed for the good, it’s already OOC. That’s why the comic is so long, I can’t do the change quickly, only in small steps. People don’t just suddenly change. This smile was a big step. There were little ones in the previous pages, like Hisoka enjoying Gon’s company, feeling a little protective of him because they are coworkers now, etc… And I must say it again since some people misunderstood, there is nothing sexual or romantic about this.previousnextfirst -- source link
