Dragon” has an incredible reputation among fans regardless of its efficiency in the game. A prime example of a card often played despite being lackluster in competitive play during its debut, “Red-Eyes” gradually gained counterparts and options to the point of obtaining an archetype of its own. A subpar high Level Normal Monster, “Red-Eyes B. Dragon” didn’t stop to becoming one of the most iconic monsters in the whole franchise thanks in part to its pressence in the series.“Lord of the Red” was one of various cards appearing in filler arcs of the original show, being released in the card game quite recently along with strong support and dangerous abilities. “Lord of the Red” has two similar destructive abilities triggered when a card or effect is activated (Excluding “Lord of the Red” and its copies), with one destroying a monster and the other doing so against a Spell or Trap Card. While recurring searching options like “Pre-Preparation of Rites” and Impcantation monsters won’t take long to look both the Ritual Monster and Ritual Spell, “Lord of the Red” actually has a variety of shortcuts to ease its arrival when compared to other Ritual Summons. Its main Ritual Spell “Red-Eyes Transmigration” gives us the option to banish Red-Eyes monsters from the Graveyard as cost of its summon, allowing us to either focus on other summons with these creatures or skip through preparatives with milling effects like “Dragon Shrine”.
