It all started when Forge World release the miniature for Leman Russ, and I immediately fell in love with it. I like the fact that Russ is not old looking warrior with thick beard, but a handsome rugged savage hero that I always dreamed of, as depicted in the Forge World art and mini. The process was difficult because there is no one consistent design on him. Every art sport a different design, different sword, different axe. And the angle of his posture is pretty difficult to translate in 2d space. Nevertheless, I’ll elaborate about the journey daunting process in another post. Right now, just enjoy this awesome image of the Wolf King.
