Buckley, to everyone’s disgust, occasionally goes dumpster diving to look for diamonds in the rough—metaphorically speaking. His favorite time of year to do so is the day after Valentine’s Day, when heartbroken people discard their wilted bouquets and rejected love letters. Buckley feels a little guilty looking through peoples’ personal declarations of love, but his morbid curiosity always wins over.
