sigils-in-your-area: Is anyone interested in helping a baby witch name her rocks? I found them at home and idk what they are. Here you have a closer image of nr 3, cause it’s weird: (I’ve been told that #1 is quartz, #2 is aventurine and #5 is amethyst, but I still want to make sure). Thank you in advance. 1 and 5 are correct. I’d say 3 is also an amethyst, maybe slightly heat-treated (they go clear or yellow when heated). 2 should be aventureine, but it’s hard to tell because most green rocks are similar :D But aventurine is the most common one. I’m voting 4 for hematite or black goldstone, and 6 is probably carnelian (if it’s in reality less ‘see-through’ than it looks on the photo, it might also be red jasper). 7 is probably obsidian. -- source link
