Left: in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Vivian is almost always seen smiling during regular gameplay on the overworld, such as during the animation of pulling Mario into the shadows.Right: however, when releasing Mario from the shadows at the end of the overworld ability animation, for a few frames, Vivian is seen frowning before going back to smiling. Due to both characters being deformed by the emerging animation during this, it is very difficult to notice during gameplay. This may imply that Vivian is briefly sad about having to let go of Mario.Main Blog | Twitter | Patreon | Small Findings | Source: PM:TTYD (NA, GC) -- source link
