This summer inspired event will be focusing on the season and the gods/goddesses associated with all things summer! The event would start on August 11th and lasts through the 18th. We encourage all myth lovers to participate and to try and focus in on lesser known myths around the world, but your participation is amazing enough. The myth event schedule is as follows: Day 1: North American DeityDay 2: South American DeityDay 3: Northern or Eastern European DeityDay 4: Western or Southern European DeityDay 5: African (including Egypt) DeityDay 6: Asian DeityDay 7: Oceanian Deity Bonus Day: Any Deity from Any Region R U L E S reblog this post so others can join the event as well tag your creations (art, graphics, moodboards, fanmixes, poetry, etc.) with #fyeahmyths and #summermythevent so we can reblog all the pretty edits the event starts AUGUST 11TH so please reblog this so that the event can gain exposure be as creative as possible, but please respect every culture and its mythology (i.e. don’t whitewash) if you have any ?’s on the event itself or about a certain mythology please send us an ask and we’ll try our best to help you! -- source link
