creativesolstice:Welcome to the first annual Creative Solstice Writing Event! This challenge takes place during the Spring season (if you’re in the northern hemisphere) or the Autumn season (if you’re in the southern hemisphere). Writers of all ages are encouraged to participate! A few reasons to join in: make progress on an existing WIP start a fun, new project make friends in the writing community gain new readers If you’re in need of some inspiration, a list of optional location prompts can be found *HERE* Any content related to your WIP is accepted (poetry, short stories, excerpts, moodboards, aesthetics, playlists, webcomics, and art). Please make sure that your content and submissions are SFW. If your writing is long, please use the “read more” option, and post any trigger warnings at the top. Click the “FAQ” at the bottom of the post to see the content that is not allowed. Remember to tag your posts with #creative solstice and @creativesolstice. You can also use the submission option if you’d prefer. The ask box will be open every other Wednesday if you’d like to chat about your progress. Calendar dates are: April 6, April 20, May 4, May 18, June 1, June 15. But I’ll make reminder posts to announce when WIP Wednesday is open.
