Character concepts for everyone’s favourite devonian placoderm: Dunkleosteus! Art & Designs by Exty! We explored a bunch of different ideas for this character, but ultimately went with the writer, as we thought the juxtaposition of a marine creature trying to write with paper and ink would be super endearing! Then, we opted to explore more realistic patterns and warm colours for her and tweaked her final design to have more accurate soft tissue. Here’s the end result!
