Year One.One Camera | 17 Rolls of Film | 330 Scanned Prints | Best 10Exactly One Year ago, after a friend gave me his uncles old MinoltaSRT101b, I’ve started shooting film and getting hyped on analogue photography. I totally started freestyle with it, had no manual, no clue wich film or settings and to be honest it was the first time for me holding an fully manual analogue camera in my hands. And still it totally felt right holding it, using the winding lever even if there wasn’t any film in it and hearing the sound of its trigger. This special feeling was unique and non-exchangeable with none other camera, for me. After getting back my first Roll of Film, totally whiteout (not even one picture was in right exposure), I started going through Blogs to actually get a feeling what was going on in this masterpiece of technology. What happens when…. what happens if… first steps…. and so on. So getting back my second Roll of Film developed and seeing the difference, it got me even more stoked to wind in a new Roll of Film, go out, think about the photos I wanna shoot, working with the daytime, looking precise onto the object or frame I wanna get, press the trigger and then………wait for 2 - 3 weeks until your photo gets developed and then see the result and the prints in a chilled chair with a cup of coffee in your hand feeling the picture you have taken and lets you remember each moment all over again. This is Analogue Photography for me from Day one on….until now! -- source link
