grace-and-ace: redbeardace:NYC Pride Parades 2019 @arowitharrows you said you hadn’t seen Aromantic presence at pride events before. That’s absolutely an ongoing issue. There are attempts being made though! This is from our group that attended World Pride in NYC 2019. A mixed Aro/Ace group. And we were near the front of the parade! Wiki says “The celebration was the largest LGBTQ event in history, with an official estimate of five million attending Pride weekend in Manhattan alone,[7] including an estimated four million in attendance at the parade” I remember the full force of the crowd and I honestly believe those numbers. Aro rep is sorely lacking, but believe that people care and are trying! This looks amazing!! I can’t even imagine how it would feel to be surrounded by so many other aspec people. -- source link
