Here’s something that’s been a LOOOOOOONG time coming… I was invited to come on as a guest for the Retronauts podcast episode about the various Sonic comics! (Archie, StC, and IDW to be specific, although we briefly acknowledge that others exist.) So if you’ve ever wanted to hear me talk about Archie Sonic in podcast form, well, here’s that!I was joined by regular host Stuart Gipp and Dave Bulmer, cohost of Sonic the Comic the Podcast. If you’re expecting an exhaustive historical deep dive on all three series, this isn’t that (nor could we ever conceivably do that in two hours). Instead it’s a friendly chat about our personal experiences reading the US and UK Sonic comics and why we like them. Lots of personal anecdotes about growing up as Sonic fans and things we’re entertained by in the comics. I’m glad I got invited to be a part of it, and it was a fun time all around.
