Child Sizes Adult Sizes So in the style of martial arts that I teach (Tang Soo Do) there are 5 color belt ranks (or gup ranks) before you get to Black Belt candidacy, and then Black Belt. Coincidentally, there are also 5 codes or sayings that students learn to introduce them to the philosophy of our martial arts. Eventually I’ll have a shirt inspired by each code, with each design on a different belt color. :) -- source link
