It’s WIP Wednesday and I’ve gotten started on chapter 15 of ‘Learning to Live

It’s WIP Wednesday and I’ve gotten started on chapter 15 of ‘Learning to Live’, so take a little peek as to what the new chapter entails! “Where am I?”  Though the words remained similar to before, dry and parched, they didn’t seem to be stolen from him, able to be heard loud and clear, “How did I get here?” “So many questions,” Yakurōdokusen stated as he lifted a hand to stroke his beard, “Do you not know who I am? You are currently in the home of the Master of Potions! You should be so lucky!” He continued, tilting his chin some with a sense of arrogance and pride, “I found your limp, lifeless body washed up against one of my riverbanks. Why, if I hadn’t risked my neck trying to drag you back to my hut, you would have been—” “I know who you are, old man,” Inuyasha interjected, his voice still rather hoarse but seemingly coming back with a familiar attitude that was unmistakingly his own. That caused Yakurōdokusen to freeze, choking on his next words before she stammered into the question, “Uh, you—you do?” A scoff left Inuyasha as he rolled his eyes, “We’ve met before, remember?” “We have?” Yakurōdokusen blinked once, then twice in confusion, eyes as wide as they possibly could go as he tried to rack his memory. “Jeez, I may’ve been drunk durin’ our visit, but apparently not nearly as you were, ya old drunkard!” Inuyasha exclaimed, watching as the Master of Potions released a hum of confusion as he scratched the top of his head in thought, as if to try and jog his memory.  “Hmm,” Yakurōdokusen pondered, “I think I’d remember if a boy with cat ears showed up—” “Cat ears!?” Inuyasha exclaimed, “I’m half dog-demon, you senial nimrod! Dog. Demon! You’re lucky I’m paralyzed, or else you’d be seein’ the bottom of my foot up your ass!” “Is that any way to speak to your elders?” Yakurōdokusen replied rather casually, only causing Inuyasha’s aggravation to climb.
