books-in-a-storm: taylor-reads-books:“Thomas patted his shoulder once. Without hesitation the cat leapt from the ground perching on his shoulder, and stared smugly at me. “Wadsworth, meet Sir Isaac Mewton. Sir Isaac Mewton, this is that special human I told you about. You’ll be nice to her or there won’t be any more belly rubs in your future.” - Kerri Maniscalco, Capturing the Devil. . . I absolutely adore puny cat names! I was thrilled to come across this one in Capturing the Devil. Did you know I named my little boy cat after a bookish cat? Chairman Meow from City of Bones, I’ve loved that since I read it. At the time I had no idea it was a pun from Chairman Mao a communist dictator from the early 1900s Oops! We hardly ever use the Meow part of his name so it’s all good, and it totally fits him! I’ve also got the names J. Catsby, Cleocatra, Aaron Purr Sir, Purrsephone, Sheldon Pooper, and Catness Everbean, (as in toe beans!) on stand by for future kitties . . . Do you have any pets? What names did you choose? . . #chairmanmeow #funko #funkopop #capturingthedevil #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookworm #reader #readersofinstagram #beautifulbooks #bookobsessed #booksofinstagram #yalit #bookish #booknerd #yabooks #bookphotography #booknerdigans #bibliophile #yafantasy #ofcosymoments #bookstagramit #booknookstagram #photooftheday #instaread #bookaesthetic https://www.instagram.com/p/B9ZwGBXAB9h/?igshid=1jw01n7v6jn51 -- source link
