Kpop isn’t good vocal music. Aside from the high notes, there’s little room to show the kind of range a lot of these amazing singers have. I never really thought Wendy was the vocal god she is until I saw videos from when she was in high school singing. And it’s because kpop doesn’t allow much room for REALLY good vocals. Wendy gets her 3 seconds to really shine with her high notes and that’s it. Everything else is just… standard singing. -- source link
