Tuscany Bradford is a twenty two old character in Make Your Mark Roleplay, a literate group. She looks very similar to Willa Holland and is OPEN. Name: Tuscany Nicole Bradford Nicknames: None Age: Twenty Two Date of Birth: December 28th (Capricorn) Location of Birth: Clarks Hill, Indiana Gender Identity: Female Orientation: Heterosexual Occupation: Nurse Education: Nursing school graduate from Purdue Identifying marks/tattoos: A scar on her back from falling off a bicycle as a child. Piercings: Multiple lobe piercings Resides In: Manhattan, New York Neighborhood: Rose Hill Headcanon #1: Doctor’s that work with Tuscany are constantly asking her out on dates. Other women would jump at the opportunity, but Tuscany always turns them down– which only make them want her more. Headcanon #2: Up to roleplayer! Tuscany grew up in the small town of Clarks Hill, Indiana. You’ve probably never heard of it: and for good reason. Essentially, the city is nothing but corn fields and cows. There’s one highschool, two stoplights, and a single grocery store for the entire town. People there hold a very small view of the world, but Tuscany was always different. She had big plans for herself, and wanted more than anything to get out the tiny town she had lived in her entire life. It seemed that her classmates were always trying to hold her back though– they all wanted to stay in Clarks Hill, get married, and have children. She didn’t want a family or a husband. Tuscany wanted to escape; away to a big city where she could make her dreams come true. When she finally graduated, her parents couldn’t afford to send her anywhere but in-state. She attended college at Purdue, just an hour or so away from her hometown. For the entire time, Tuscany hated it. She didn’t make friends easily, coming from a town with less than 1,000 residents. Being used to the same old crowd, it was hard for her to branch out and meet people. She relished in the new environment, but couldn’t bring herself to really get out there. So, she focused on her studies, and became a nurse. Helping people was something she was good at, and you didn’t have to make small talk with people that were in pain. Tuscany’s quick on her feet and knowledgeable, so she makes a perfect nurse. Ever since she started, she’s gotten nothing but compliments. Working at a hospital in New York is hard, though. At first Tuscany thought it would be fun– she would be doing what she loved to do, and in a gigantic city filled with dreams. She was excited and felt prepared. Little did she know, the job that laid ahead of her was from easy. While she’s a talented nurse, people that work in hospitals have to see a lot. Tuscany can be sensitive and easily triggered, so her job in the hospital is hard for her. She’s rock-solid though, and nobody ever even picks up on her pain. Tuscany’s seen some horrible things working in the ER: overdoses, attempted suicide, pranks gone wrong: all of it ending horrifically. While most people would break, Tuscany holds it all in inside and refuses to let it out. So far, she’s made a great name for herself at the hospital. She refuses to break that over something as trivial as her emotions. When off work, Tuscany spends lots of time walking around the city. She visits the park, goes to the book store, or spends time in coffee shops. All of her life she’s wanted to escape the tiny city that she lived in, so honestly, she’s just enjoying seeing big buildings. Part of her wants to get out and make more friends, but another part of her holds her back. She had the same group of friends for most of her life in Clarks Hill, and now, she’s forgotten how to make new ones. In Tuscany’s mind, New York is her best friend anyway. Why would she need anybody? She hardly ever feels lonely: with bustling strangers walking at all hours, loud sirens, and bright lights surrounding her. New York is the perfect place for Tuscany because the streets are crowded and noisy, the polar opposite of her small hometown. She’s enjoying her time in New York, and while her job at the hospital does wear on her sometimes, Tuscany remains optimistic. After all, she’s done exactly what she’s always hoped to do. While her old friends and classmates remain in Clarks Hill, she’s in the best city in the world making her dreams come true. Positive Character Traits: Willful, smart, helpful, careful, grounded, supportive, comfortable with herself. Negative Character Traits: Quiet, reclusive, detached, withdrawn, stoic, inexpressive, bottled-up. -- source link
