luciferlaughs:On the night of June 15th, 2000, 20-year-old Amanda Tusing left her fiance’s house in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to visit her parents in Dell, Arkansas. Alarmingly, she never made it to her destination. When her fiance got in touch with her father at approximately 1:30 AM, they both got in their cars and met each other on Arkansas Highway 18. Eventually they were able to find Amanda’s vehicle on the highway. The car was still running, the windshield wipers were paused midway across the windshield, and the radio was turned to her favourite station. However, there was no sign of Amanda in or around the car. Until three days later, when her body was found 12 miles away from her car in a rain-filled ditch. There didn’t appear to be any signs of a struggle or sexual assault, although it was determined that she was most likely killed before her body was dropped in the ditch as there was not water in her lungs. Since it had been raining heavily on the night of her disappearance, any evidence the killer might have left behind was completely washed away, essentially hampering the investigation. To this day there have been no arrests made in Amanda’s tragic death. -- source link
