ddlgdoodles: Safety: Before tying up your partner/sub/bottom, be sure you’ve done your research on safety and bondage. I won’t go into it too much right now but here are the basics. Communicate with your partner and ask how their limbs are feeling. If they’re going numb then you’re cutting off circulation. You should be able to fit a finger between the rope and the skin. If you can’t then it’s too tight. Know how to undo your knots in case of emergencies. If you’re stuck with a knot that won’t budge, make sure you have scissors (or a knife) at hand. When doing ties like the dragonfly sleeve, do not yank at the arms and pull them back. Be gentle and do it gradually so you don’t strain the arms or the joints. If you’d like to see a video tutorial of how this is done, please download this file from knottyboys.com. - Thank you, diaryof-alittleswitch. This is my first shibari tutorial so I apologize if it gets confusing at all. I drew in some arrows to help guide where the ropes should go, but if in doubt, please view the video above. In the future, I’ll be working with bdsmgeek to create shibari tutorials. Hopefully they’ll be easier to understand. -- source link
