Think about it. Think about what you’ve done. Wrack your brains, plumb the recesses of you
Think about it. Think about what you’ve done. Wrack your brains, plumb the recesses of your mind, for the one thing that you forgot. Run through the past twenty four hours in your head, then the past week, month, even year. Somewhere, you slipped up, and now you need to think about what you’ve done. You don’t know how long I’m going to leave you there, or even if there’s anything you need to do to bring this solitude to an end. So you’re going to press your head against that wall, and really think. Let the cogs whir. Because there’s always the chance that it’s nothing you did. There’s always the chance this is just for my amusement, just to see what you come up with, what transgression you dig up or invent, to atone for. Because there’s always something, even when I haven’t caught it. -- source link
