One day last week I was getting my eyebrows done in the cosmetics department and through this same exact angle, I saw a woman’s reflection through this mirror. I noticed she had a deformity where the left side of her lips was abnormally bigger as if they were permanently swollen. . But before you feel sorry, let me tell you this gal looked like she was living her best life. . She, too, was in a makeup chair chatting it up with one of the sales associates who was testing different products on her face. Her smile shined just like the stud earrings she was wearing with her sleek ponytail. And when she was done she stood up, gathered her other three shopping bags, said “thank you” to the sales associate smile still in tact, and walked away. . Despite her flaw, I love how she still wanted to get glammed up and was enjoying her Friday afternoon shopping; I could tell she still wanted to present herself to the world tastefully through her simple yet chic look. And I couldn’t help but think that if I were in her shoes would I have the same confidence or would I be hiding away behind closed doors? . Perhaps the latter. . But let me say this: there is no flaw whether physical or character that is hidden from God. You are His workmanship and everything about you is important to Him. He’s interested in the smallest, most quiet details of your life and YOU. If there’s any place for us to put our confidence in, it’s that. That the God of all creation and of all the universe has compassion and a regard for all of us ✨ (at Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bzt6ZgNF1Lj/?igshid=113xerr3g3mct -- source link
