In a fandom full of romance and ships, these beautiful platonic relationships all too often end up lost in the crowd. It is for that reason that we have decided to introduce Gentron Week! For seven days, we’ll take tropes of affection that often wind up relegated solely to romantic ships, and give them a chance to shine in platonic works for our favorite intergalactic found family! The event will run from August 4th to August 10th, and each day will feature two optional prompts for writers and artists to work with: August 4th - Bed-Sharing/Sleepover | Forehead Kisses August 5th - Childhood Friends | Clothes-Sharing August 6th - Soulmate AU | Hand-Holding August 7th - Mistaken for Couple | Dancing August 8th - Hanahaki Disease | Cuddling August 9th - Café/Coffee Shop AU | Food/Meal-Sharing August 10th - Long-Distance Friendship | “I love you.” We are super excited for chance to spread some platonic love throughout the Voltron fandom, and we hope you are too!
