LOOK WHAT YOU’VE DONE! I’m MELTING! Melting! Ahhh computer melted in the recent heatwave (didn’t help I left it unsupervised for ages) leading me to waste time repairing and then rebuilding from scratch. Though it was a good excuse to spec up my workhorse and improve render times. So I put Alien 2 on the back burner because the project files are disconnected from the textures seeing as the hard drives have changed over, in the meantime I’ll pushed forward with my resident evil 4 project which has a trailer and was a lot easier to work with seeing as there was no porting of assets from sfm and max. Aside from the trailer I also want to start testing VR content out seeing as the machine can handle that style of rendering a lot easier than the previous one, so test out the image and vids and see how they run. A few image will be from “Las Plagas” (RE4 project) and the other images and video are from an untitled K9 project. (No need to critique the animation itself)If you do comment, mention the device “Smartphone, GearVR, Oclulus, Vive, PlaystationVR etc.” and something relevant to “Lag/Tearing”, “Resolution” and “Formats”. Images 4320x3840 JpgVideo 2160x1920 Mp4 Also is content for “him” and “her” and thing, do you want POV from givers and receivers in VR (if possible) ??? Lastly I’ll reply as soon as I can to people that have been messaging, thanks for your patience. -- source link
