Logan’s alien form in the Secret DJ AU! The Species:His species is polymorphic in that each individual can change a singular aspect about themselves. In Logan;s case, he can morph into having four arms for better mixing. Roman, who is also one of his species, can alter his voice so that he can have melody and harmony at the same time when he sings. Their species is musical in that they express emotions mostly through the sharing of music and song in some fashion. When you find a song that goes well with yours it’s like destiny so when Virgil asks if they can make music together it’s actually an intimate moment of sharing their feelings even if Virgil doesn’t at first recognize that’s what’s happening. When Patton sings with Roman in a duet Roman absolutely assume they’re in love because he basically professed his affections for him. They tend to have speaker-like organs somewhere on their person that act both as sound amplifiers and also as ears and beat projectors hear sound very differently. Logan’s are on his feet which handle beats and in place of his ears, however he has tech around them to amplify and alter the sounds to be louder which changes the beats as he taps his foot or changes the synth quality to his tones. Roman has these kinds of speaker organs on his back which help change his vocal range.Dee has them on his hands and feet and uses them specifically for amplifying his drumming beats. The Tattoo:In his alien form, Logan;s tattoo floats above his arm because it’s ingrained with tech that he uses to disguise himself as a human (y’all can thank @pendulumtess for that idea). It’s got the same phrase written in his language but it’s all the same: “It’s A Planet Dammit” because what kind of world doesn’t recognize Pluto as a planet??? Roman and Dee also have tattoos on their person that have the same function- to use as a disguise shifter, however they do not look the same as Logan’s as they can choose whatever style they want. They ALWAYS glow in the dark if they are not currently disguised.Why he, Dee and Roman are on Earth:They are studying humans both inside and outside of the music sphere. The club is the place where Roman and Logan  watch humans participate in music and study how it affects them compared to their own species. It gives them a chance to understand human music too which can be very different for their own. Their species also records history into their music so they’re trying to figure out if humans do the same. Logan chose to be a professor because there’s thousands of students each with their own unique opinions and different music tastes and abilities and his homework is often music related, regardless that he is an english professor.  -- source link
