Week one of my Brushtober challenge is complete! I took this past week to experiment with the four different paint types, and I’m not gonna lie, it was rough. A part of me regrets taking on this challenge because I have such a long way to go in figuring out how to make this work for me! But then I remind myself that the reason I decided to do this is to expand my skills. Let’s hope I can figure this out before the end of the month! I made the first drawing with a mix of watercolor and gouache, testing how it would look if I worked from a rough sketch. The other images are of my initial gouache and acrylic test sketches. -- source link
