More Tolkien art, this is the Maia Melian and Luthien’s mother. This past read through the Silmarillion I really fell in love with Melian. I generally fall in love with someone new each time I read it. I did this one after the Luthien piece to go together a bit. I really love this piece. I do apologize for the crappy scan. I did this in this grey tone notebook that I’m absolutely loving right now, it’s awesome for using copics on. But my new scanner won’t accommodate the whole notebook so the scan came out bad. I didn’t want to pull it out of the notebook til I’ve colored it. So there will be a better scan once I color it. -- source link
