So he showed it to Murdoc when he took him to the studio, all the while it was still just a simple melody with a few verses. Murdoc hated it, so they scrapped it. Many years later 2D changes the lyrics and makes it the last song of The Now Now, and it’s a hit. Although, sometimes he can be caught singing the old lyrics. -- source link
