cydanite: Maverick “Decoya” Charming is a warforged sorcerer who believes he is the human wizard Maverick Charming. This is because the real Maverick, who has recently succeeded in pulling off the largest magical bank heist in recent time, commissioned a robotic duplicate of himself to get arrested in his stead so he could change his identity and live the rest of his days rich as can be. Decoya enjoys stealing, scamming, lying, gambling, snake oiling, and other general trickery that the real Maverick hopes will eventually lead to his arrest and later taking on his standing charges, including but not limited to theft, illegal use of enchantment magic, and 6 counts of murder. Decoya (who has no idea he is wanted for the crime of the decade due to “amnesia”, which is easier to program than months of specific memories which need to stand up against witness accounts) enjoys the carefree life of a petty crimesman on the move.
