pepsimangb: Well, now I’ve done it, Atlus Tumblr. Seeing as I’ve been making decent money from work lately, I decided to splurge a bit and managed to win an auction for the PC-98 version Giten Megami Tensei, which is basically the only other notable PC release for the entire series this side of Imagine and Megami Tensei 1, albeit not developed by Atlus proper. Though the game itself is pretty dubious, it’s still neat to have as something of a personal white whale. And more important, what this means for you, the reader, is that just like last time when I got a copy of the PC-88 Megami Tensei in the mail, I plan to scan everything that’s in the box and upload it to the Atlus Atlas for preservation since nobody else seems to have gotten around to doing so. No ETA on when that’ll all happen quite yet; I’m waiting on a few other auctions to come through and since I’m going through a proxy (the lovely people at DV8CAG), it’s going to be a bit of a wait while shipping stuff gets taken care of. But it’ll come, boy will it, and when it does, you all will know it. I’m excited! -Pepsi PS: If you follow Demoban, where I upload old Japanese game demo discs, there’s going to be some excitement there soon, too. Not only do I still have a bunch of PS1 discs to upload when I have time, but some special PS2 discs are making their way soon. All told, it should hopefully be a good time to be a reader of my side blogs! :D Quick update on this for those wondering: I ended up bidding on a few more Yahoo Japan auctions whose shipments I’m still waiting to get to my courier, so most likely, Giten Megami Tensei will be in my hands sometime within mid-late May. There’s a good chance I’m going to be moving in that time frame, but the plan is to still get box and manual scans online ASAP. I may also just dump the game disc, too, since it seems like the PC-98 version is significantly harder to find online. If anybody cares one way or the other on that subject, I’d love to hear from you!Anyway, sorry for the wait, but it’s still coming! Once it’s online, it’ll all be thrown up on the Atlus Atlas, as usual. Thanks for your patience~ -- source link
