nicpersinger: Just a friendly reminder about my workshop next weekend with the Aurora Project. This years workshop will be blending modern digital cameras and two of the earliest photographic processes to make some really rad unique images. Participants can bring their own cameras to explore Aurora or previously taken photos that will be made into digital black and white negatives. By using Cyanotype and Van Dyke Brown chemistry solutions, we will make our own UV-sensitive photographic paper that will allow you to print your negatives into photographs with the help of the sun! Participants will be able to make images in many different sizes and experiment with different techniques and ideas—plus the best part is that you’ll be taking all your prints home with you! And don’t worry if you don’t have a camera, photograms and drawings can also be made with this process. All in all this workshop is going to be a blast with technology spanning a century to produce one-of-a-kind photographs for you to enjoy. I hope to see you there! Details: Saturday, June 6th from 11am-4pm At the General Store in Aurora, WV Price: $40 (includes all printing supplies) To register call Kellyn at 304-735-3620 Or email info@auroraproject.org Great opportunity made possible by the Aurora Project .
