ABC President Karey Burke said today that LOST “is a reboot I’d be interested in seeing.”“It is literally at this point just what I dream about when I go to bed at night. I have not spoken to Carlton [Cuse] or J.J. [Abrams] or ABC Studios about it. I do often get the question what show would I reboot and often my answer is Lost, sometimes Alias. Nothing to report yet, maybe ever but it would be a fun thing to have a conversation about.” (x)Damon and Carlton have both said they’re not interested in revisiting the characters, but are open to someone else’s idea. Carlton, back in August, had this to say: “I think that they [at Disney/ABC] all understand and respect the decision that Damon and I made that we don’t have any desire to reboot the show or do a sequel or anything like that. As we have both said before, I expect that at some point the Walt Disney Company or someone will come along with an idea to do some other characters on the island, in the world of LOST, and we’re fine with that.
