emilysculpts:Commission - MidnaPlease note, this piece was a custom-made commission. It is not for sale nor will it be duplicated. Additionally, I am not taking any new orders for sculptures based on licensed characters. Thank you for your understanding.About : This piece was incredibly tricky, but I learned so much making this sculpture. I redid the structure of this probably three times before I got it right, with lots of dremeling and sanding in there. The body is removable from the hair via brass tubing. This allowed me to fully detail the back of the helmet as well as add stability. Did I mention I love her helmet??References : Pose inspired by this image. This awesome model really helped me with the markings as well as some of the forms. And of course, the original game model!Materials : Apoxie Sculpt, Sculpey Firm, Super Sculpey, Wire and Brass Tube Armature, Wire Mesh, Cel Vinyl, Wood BaseDimensions : 9.75” Tall on a 5” BaseTime Taken : 35 hoursWant to learn how to sculpt like I do?
