Johnson, architect Often nicknamed ‘pod house’ or ‘mushroom house,’ the complex consists of four living pods plus a fifth open-air deck. The pods, inspired by the shape of Queen Anne’s Lace, are connected with passageways and tunnels lined with Gaudi-esque mosaics.
