I love myself and my body, and if I’d like to show it off, I should be able to without the threat of abuse and assault. My innocence was taken from me against my will, and now that I’m an adult, I am in charge of myself and my own body. I am in charge of my own sexuality, and you can’t use the term SLUT against me when all you’re saying is that now I, and only I, am in control of my sex life. By showing off your tits in public, its going to naturally cause people to stare at you. By nature, people are going to do that and its only going to become more intense depending on how attractive you are. On top of that, a woman’s breasts are linked to the sexual process and the post reproductive stage. That’s why it’s incredibly arousing to see a woman’s breasts unclothed in public. Women are going to get wet between their thighs and men are going to sprout boners like daisies.  You can’t restrict someone’s fantasies or someone’s right to hit on you and see if you’ll give them a shot. Someone can be attracted to you for a variety of reasons. But if you’re walking out of the house like this, you’re implying that you want sex. You aren’t implying that you deserve to be raped. But that expression of sexuality suggests that you want someone worthy of contact at some point.  But I don’t think that taking your top off and declaring sexual freedom is going to -1) Prevent you from being raped2) Prevent someone from crudely calling you a slut I wish that SlutWalks bred people that thought of advertising that was less hypocritical. They say that they don’t want to be sexually objectified, then SlutWalks are created. They say that they want to abolish the word slut, yet condemn men for doing the exact same thing. I don’t get it. I get SW’s, obviously. But I don’t think its going to help anyone with demonstrations like this. If anything, its going to confuse the living fuck out of people.   -- source link
