[Help me, I have fallen into that deep dark pit of Chinese webnovels, and I can’t get out.]I studiously ignored anything and everything MDZS that crossed my dash for the past two-plus years – and then proceeded to undo it all this year by blazing through the damn Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation book, and then chasing it down with an unholy The Untamed marathon. – And then, during a temporary sleep-deprived lapse of good sense, decided that (1) I haven’t done any smoke portraits in ages, and (2) oh hey, Wei Wuxian would be a perfect subject for one such painting on account of how he’s shrouded in smoke every time he puts his flute to use anyway, and damn my bleary eyes.
