yoiyoihakkeyoi: Harumafuji takes the yusho at Aki Basho 2017! Coming off of a disappointing 3 straight losses after day 5, the lone Yokozuna kept up steam and caught up with yusho leader Ozeki Goeido to clinch the championship in a playoff match. This marks his 9th yusho, requiring just one more yusho to be considered a Dai-Yokozuna. Aki 2017 was one hell of a roller coaster, so many important rikishi out, lots of upsets, yet in the end the sole Yokozuna managed what could be considered a historical turn of tables! :) -- source link
