Dear friends, KAIKIN (lifting of the ban in Japanese) is a new theatre play about the times when Japan was a closed country, no people were allowed out or in… except for Dutch merchants.A lot of you here are artists yourselves and you know how difficult it is to make art without support! So I invite you to help and support this play, which is written and directed by Ellis van Maarseveen, a director, actress and drama teacher who left the Netherlands 5 years ago to live and work in Japan.
