If they are even one degree off course, with time they can end up 500 miles away from where they need to be. We can all learn a thing or two from pilots: precision, focus, and commitment add up over time. Reaching your goals is very tough without these traits. Now, this doesn’t mean one slip up will suddenly make your goal unachievable - correcting your course is possible! And what’s more, some goals are larger targets than others. Coming up 30 yards off target is okay when your target is 50 miles wide. But a very precise target requires a very precise course. An example here is having a goal of living a healthier, balanced lifestyle (50 mile target), or bringing your best package ever to a bodybuilding stage (precise target). Striving to be healthier allows for more wiggle room. Competing in bodybuilding requires every decision you make to be on track. Assess your own goals. How wide of a target do you have? Are you making decisions to keep you on track? Your goal is your purpose.
