“A Sky Full of Stars” A commission artwork I made for dear @marioswap ⁣⁣⁣⁣Thank you so much for supporting my art! ⁣⁣⁣⁣The concept and uniform design in this art are from @marioswap ’s MarioAU. I just added some little details here and there with their permission, of course.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣This was very a fascinating and challenging project to colour since I have never tried to render water surface from straight above perspective before. I must admit that water is not my strongest element to draw or colour and I definitely need more practice, but I’m still quite happy with the result.⁣⁣⁣⁣I wanted to create a marker-ish outcome so I decided to test my new marker brushes on Clip Studio Paint. I coloured this pretty much the same way I colour with traditional copic markers but the blending process is just so much easier when you have the chance to experiment with different things, and correct the mistakes if something doesn’t work the way you want.⁣⁣⁣⁣Programs used: Paint Tool SAI for lineart and Clip Studio Paint for coloring process. ⁣⁣SPEEDPAINT: x -- source link
